NRSP Microfinance Bank Limited

NRSP Microfinance Bank Limited has commenced operations in March 2011. It has been planned to gradually transform the micro credit operations of the country’s largest provider of microfinance services (National Rural Support Programme) into a regulated microfinance bank. NRSP recognizes several advantages to the microfinance bank status. These include the ability to raise new sources of debt and equity funds, to offer savings & other non-credit services, and the opportunity to achieve scale through adopting a fully-regulated environment.
