Dr. Ayesha Khan is the Country Director & CEO of Acumen Pakistan. Dr Khan has previously been with HBL Bank as the Head of Corporate Planning & Strategy. She has also worked as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co. in New York. Dr. Khan did her Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University USA. She also holds a Masters in International Development from Harvard University and a Doctorate in corporate strategy from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Zahoor Hussain Khan

Mr. Zahoor Hussain Khan has 19 years of extensive microfinance, management and social mobilization experience. He has led the development and implementation of the transformation of NRSP microfinance program. Mr. Khan is a specialist in the design, planning, policy formulation, organizational structure and product development of rural microfinance.

Mr. Naved A. Khan

Mr. Naved has over 30 years of work experience, with 27 years of broad based banking experience. He has served as President of Faysal Bank and ABN Amro Bank, Pakistan. He has served on senior management positions in Bank of America, Pakistan. Mr. Naved holds a Bachelor Degree from Indiana University, USA and an MBA from Butler University, USA.

Dr. Shadia Jaffrey

Dr. Shahida Jaffrey has been honoured to become the first woman Vice Chancellor and founder of the Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University in Balochistan. She holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Punjab Lahore and PhD in Education from the University of Philippines. She is the Chairperson of Behbud, Balochistan, which provides preventive healthcare to underprivileged women in the rural area of District Mastung. She has also served as the Chief Executive of the largest Rural Support Programme in Balochistan, the Balochistan Rural Support Programme.

Mr. Stephen Rasmussen

Stephen Rasmussen has 30 years of development and financial inclusion experience. In 2014–2015, he established and was the first CEO of Karandaaz Pakistan, a start-up company focused on small business finance for job creation, digital financial inclusion, and innovation in the financial sector. Before joining CGAP, he was the World Bank’s microfinance focal point for South Asia. From 2001 to 2008 he was CEO of the Pakistan Microfinance Network, and from 1994 to 2003 he was CEO of the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, a large rural development program in northern Pakistan, where he also helped establish First MicroFinance Bank, the first microfinance bank in Pakistan. Most recently Stephen served as CGAP’s Lead, Digital Rails.

Dr. Rashid Bajwa

Dr. Rashid Bajwa is currently working as Chief Executive Officer of the National Rural Support Program (NRSP). At NRSP, he has been overseeing the largest rural development operations of Pakistan. NRSP’s mandate is to alleviate poverty by harnessing people’s potential and undertake development activities in Pakistan.

Mr. Shoaib Sultan Khan

Mr. Shoaib Sultan Khan is the founder of Aga Khan Rural Support Program, the National Rural Support Program (NRSP) and Sarhad Rural Support Program. Presently he is serving as the Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rural Support Program Network (RSPN) and NRSP. He has also received the Global 500 award in 1989, the Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 1990, the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 1992, the WWF Conservation Medal in 1994, Sitara-i-Eisaar  and Hilal-i-Imtiaz in 2006.
